On-Board Lap Of Circuit Of The Americas With Dani Pedrosa

Some MotoGP teams including Repsol Honda, LCR Honda and the Factory Yamaha squads tested at the Circuit of the Americas track in Austin, Texas to gather crucial data leading up to the race there April 19-21. Ride along with Dani Pedrosa and his Honda RC213V as he takes you around for a lap of America’s world-class racetrack.

The video starts with Pedrosa leading new teammate Marc Marquez through the first half of the track. Marquez then passes Pedrosa and we see the two Spaniards chase each other for the rest of the lap. In the video above note the high-pitched wail of the V4 engine and how quickly the engine picks up revs. Astute viewers will also notice Pedrosa shifting in the opposite direction as you would on production streetbikes. This allows riders more clearance to upshift during left turns.
