Bazzer at Oulton by Niall Mac

Tue, 28 Sep 2010

There is no question that the BSB paddock has been split over the radical new points scoring system introduced for 2010. That said, no one can argue that the formula hasn't worked as we are in for the most exciting season end at the Oulton Park triple header on the 9th/10th of October.

There may only be six riders in the final shoot out but there are at least another six that can win races, ultimately spoiling the party for the championship hopefuls. One such rider is seventeen year old Frenchman, Loris Baz. A graduate of the Spanish Metrakit series, he immediately became Yamaha's favourite son after winning the European 600 Superstock title at the tender age of fifteen.

At 6'4" he is no Dani Pedrosa, however his size means taming 200bhp superbikes is childs play; something I've already witnessed at Croft and Silverstone. Motorpoint Yamaha have had a tough season and desperately want to finish on a high so expect some French frolics from the Baz man at Oulton
