2013 Triumph Daytona 675 - Factory Kit version

Fri, 14 Dec 2012

Factory is the motorcycle world's equivalent of 'legend': it's a word that gets thrown around so much it loses its meaning.

However, this Factory Race Kit Daytona 675 justifies the 'factory' tag. It's the kit developed by Triumph for race teams who want a quick step up to the maximum amount of performance a Daytona 675 can offer.

There's not a bit of carbon fibre in sight. All the parts are worthy additions designed with faster in mind.

The kit consists of new camshafts, exhaust valves, race air filter, head and base gaskets, a race ECU and wiring loom, lightweight wheels and a full arrow system. The full kit also includes a spare engine which is perfect for race teams but probably a bit over the top for your trackday setup.

The kit takes the bike's output to 130bhp and the full kit price will be around £5,000. If you want the ultimate Daytona 675, forget adding carbon fibre and an end can; go full factory.
