2012 Triumph Bonneville T100 110th Anniversary Edition Revealed

Thu, 15 Mar 2012

Triumph revealed a limited edition model commemorating the brand’s 110th anniversary. Triumph has done a good job trading off of a history that traces back to 1902, so it’s fitting the English marque would recognize the anniversary with a special edition version of its classically-styled Bonneville T100.

We had an inkling the 2012 Triumph Bonneville T100 110th Anniversary Edition was on its way after we saw its CARB approval documents a few weeks ago. The limited edition version (only 1,000 will be produced worldwide including 250 for the U.S.) comes in a aluminum silver and khaki green paint scheme reminiscent of early Triumph motorcycles.

Other features include chrome chain guard, cam cover and grab rails, and a modernized version of Triumph’s original crest on the Anniversary Edition’s side covers.

As expected, the Anniversary Edition is mechanically identical to the base model T100, which means it is powered by a fuel-injected 865cc parallel Twin engine with dual overhead cams. Suspension is provided by the same 41mm forks and chromed rear shocks.

The 2012 Triumph Bonneville T100 110th Anniversary Edition is expected to arrive in showrooms in May with a $10,499 price tag.
