Yamaha YZF description

2010 Yamaha YZF R6, The R6 is designed to do one thing extremely well: get around a race track in minimal time. Its about a screaming, 15,000-rpm-plus fuel-injected four-cylinder engine in a taut chassis that lets it snap from upright to full lean instantly. Oh yeah: Its a great street bike too. So come to RideNow Powersports in Goodyear and ask for Prudencio.

Spies set the best lap time at 2:01.285 while testing different chassis settings in the morning.

Motorcycle racers recognize they compete in a dangerous sport, risking serious harm in a crash. Of course, all riders know about the risks, whether they’re on a race track or on the street. Still it seems odd to hear Daytona Sportbike racer Cameron Beaubier broke his knee cap and injured his wrist crashing a 50cc scooter on the street.
