2009 Yamaha R6 Raven. First and only owner, bought spring 2010. The bike has a ceramic coated titanium header and midpipe, GYTR shorty carbon fiber muffler with titanium tip, HID 8k high/low beam headlights, smoked taillight with integrated turn signals, and a Power Commander III. Put a new rear tire on less than 500 miles ago, also changed the oil less than 200 miles ago. Barely have time to ride so my loss is your gain. Any other questions or concerns just message me. Mon, 04 Nov 2013Yamaha teased us with the “Rise Up Your Darkness” campaign, first introducing the FZ-09 (called the MT-09 in Europe) and its three-cylinder engine packaged in a naked frame. Now Yamaha has introduced the next motorcycle in the Darkness collection, the MT-07, effectively the MT/FZ-09′s little brother. Designed to “bring fun, affordability and enjoyment back to the street,” the MT-07 is powered by a brand new, 689cc parallel-Twin with 270-degree crank incorporating Yamaha’s “crossplane philosophy” of developing linear torque for smoother power application.
Ben Spies Video Interview on 2012 MotoGP Season [Video]
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Yamaha Factory Racing today posted on its YouTube page a video interview with Ben “Elbowz” Spies, in which Spies discusses the soon to start 2012 season of MotoGP. In his usual calm, cool and under control manner Spies speaks frankly on how he prefers the 1000cc GP machine, saying it suits his style (elbows out!) better than the previous seasons’ 800cc bikes because the extra torque and horsepower of the liter-class bikes are, essentially, better matched to his physical stature. Spies also answers honestly the question of who he thinks he needs to keep an eye in 2012, including his teammate, Jorge Lorenzo.
