Bike is in very good mechanical and cosmetic condition, it only has a few minor scratches, bike has new tires, (front and rear) new inspection, (good till June 2017) some carbon fiber guards, USB charger, new battery (still in box) throttle lock. It also has after market brake and clutch levers that are easily adjusted, I'm not sure what they are called. The exhaust has also been modified in some way, it has a nice sound, not stock sounding
I purchased this used last year from Blackmanns cycle in Emmaus PA. I hasn't given me any problems and it still has a lot of power. This bike doesn't use oil or leak any fluids. Color combo black with gold rims is sharp. The bike needs nothing but a rider. Tue, 22 Nov 2011Yamaha released a video looking back at Josh Hayes’ 2011 AMA Superbike season culminating with his second consecutive championship. The video takes a round-by-round look back at the season as Hayes and his Yamaha R1 duked it out with essentially a phalanx of Suzuki GSX-R1000 riders led by seven-race winner Blake Young. Highlights include the hard-fought duel between Hayes and Young at Mid-Ohio, Hayes and Tommy Hayden swapping the lead on the final lap at Laguna Seca and the title-clinching finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park.
Spies Second at Sepang Test Day Two; Lorenzo Third
Wed, 01 Feb 2012Yamaha factory rider Ben Spies led for most to the second day of MotoGP testing at Sepang before settling for the second best lap the time sheets behind defending World Champion Casey Stoner. Spies rode 37 laps and recorded a time of 2:01.052, which stood as the fastest lap in the morning session. That time was surpassed later in the afternoon by Repsol Honda rider Stoner by 0.157 seconds.
