For sale is my 2007 Yamaha r1. Bike is in perfect condition. Bike is painted Dodge Viper red and black. Gold painted wheels(powder coated), H.I.D headlights, frame plugs, puig windscreen, seat cowl, carbon fiber exhaust, integrated brake and turn signal and blacked out everything(powder coated).
As I am no longer riding due to back issues, I have included everything I own for the bike. HJC helmet medium, cortech gloves medium, icon arc jacket large, front and rear bike stands, handle bar straps and battery charger. I also have original seat and rear pegs for the passenger. Jacket does have stains from dry cleaners, but still in great shape. Bike is well maintained with regular oil changes, has a kn air filter and iridium plugs. No engine work done on bike, engine is stock. I am selling the bike because no time to ride anymore and lower back pain. Bike is in great condition(see pictures) and all sales are final(no returns). AMA to Combine Daytona Sportbike and Supersport Classes in 2015
Wed, 04 Dec 2013AMA Pro Racing announced plans to combine its Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes into a single category by the 2015 season. The two classes currently share many similarities including engine displacement regulations, minimum weight limits and eligible machines. The Supersport class has more restrictions on modifications and are limited to a maximum top speed of 165 mph while Daytona Sportbike machines are allowed to reach speeds up to 170 mph.
Official 2014 MotoGP Entry List Released
Fri, 28 Feb 2014The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released the official entry list for the 2014 MotoGP Championship including 23 riders representing 13 teams. The final entry list also lists each rider’s status as either a Open or Factory class rider. The eight Factory riders are allowed to use their teams’ own proprietary ECU software but are otherwise limited by a freeze on engine development, a limit of five engines for the whole season and just 5.3 gallons of fuel per race.

Tue, 07 Jan 2014Joan Barreda won his second special stage this year and now boasts a lead of more than 13 minutes over Cyril Despres and Marc Coma, the two other beneficiaries of a particularly decisive stage. Today’s stage, part one of the first marathon stage with no team service, was characterized by the highest ever racing altitude in Dakar history. Facing the 22,841 foot summit of the Aconcagua, South America´s highest mountain, the motorcycle riders had to cross a pass over 14,107 feet in elevation in trial-like conditions.
