2006 Yamaha R6-S
Runs great, clean title on hand, 17,*** miles -Please note, some mild rash in the right lower fairing, however I have 2 right lower used fairings (see photos). I will ship the fairings free of charge upon successful purchase. -Also mild rash on the upper right fairing (see photos) those would need replacement. I would rate the mechanical condition 8/10 and the cosmetic 7/10 though I get lots of compliments on the looks when riding it. I will also ship new battery upon purchase as well as brand new trickle charger. Highlights: -LoJack recovery system installed -Yoshimura Exhaust -Scott Stabilizer -Exterior lighting modifications ( HID lights, integrated tail lights). I prefer a local pickup, however, buyer may hire shipping company. Cash or cashiers check only within 3 days of close of auction. Please! Ask me questions! Yamaha Reports 2013 Sales Results
Wed, 12 Feb 2014Yamaha reported a 1.2% decrease in motorcycle sales in 2013 but managed to increase its net sales revenue by 16.2%, thanks in large part to the depreciation of the Japanese yen. According to the company’s 2013 fiscal report, Yamaha sold 6,014,000 motorcycles last year, down slightly from 6,090,000 sold in 2012. The good news however, is most of the sales decrease was limited to Thailand and Vietnam where the economy worsened in 2013, while Yamaha’s sales increased in nearly all other markets.

2010 Yamaha YZF-R1 Faces Recall for High Engine Idle
Wed, 27 Nov 2013Yamaha has initiated recalls on the 2010 R1 in several markets because of a problem with the wiring harness causing high idle speeds. As of this writing, recalls have been announce for Australia, Germany, and the United Kingdom. No recall has been announced for the U.S.
