You are looking at used in mint condition 2005 YAMAHA YZF R6 I'm the second owner. Bike was never dropped. Always garaged. Never in rain. Never stunned. It has 14,500 miles and going. I'm still using it to commute. Mechanically doesn't need anything. Recently replaced: - oil change synthetic (every 3,000 miles) - new chain and front, rear sprockets - new front and rear bearings - spark plugs - coolant - tires are year old It has few small, tasteful upgrades: - shorty brake and clutch shifters - usb socket - RAM cell phone holder - red LED under light with on/off switch - PUIG light smoke windshield - integrated brake/turn signal rear LED light - flash mount front LED turn light Both turn lights are with resistors. Blinks normal speed. Not twice as fast. Bike is in amazing shape. Needs somebody to love it as I do. Feel free to ask questions. GOOD LUCK |

Brammo Electric Motorcycles Eligible to Race Against Gas-Powered Bikes in AFM
Tue, 05 Mar 2013Electric Brammo motorcycles will share the grid with gas-powered motorcycles in American Federation of Motorcyclists competitions. The AFM, America’s oldest motorcycle road racing body, announced Brammo riders can compete head-to-head for championships against those riding internal combustion engine motorcycles. The Brammo Empulse R, Empulse TTX and Empulse RR will be eligible for competition.

Tue, 22 Apr 2014The new three-event GEICO Motorcycle Superbike Shootout Presented by Yamaha is gaining steam as Dynojet Research has stepped up to provide sponsorship for the Pro Sportbike class. Dynojet will also have its popular dyno performance truck on-site for race support. Devised to fill an 11-week gap in professional road racing between mid-March and late May, the Superbike Shootout was inspired by the successful British Superbike Championship series.

Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
