I am the second owner however I bought the bike with 1200 miles on it in 2007
Overall:
Great bike, runs Great, body is in good condition, Needs some work on the engine to fix the slip but still runs good without the gear.
Wish i didn't have to get rid of this bike.

Thu, 16 Jan 2014Yamaha has filed for a trademark with the European Union for the names “YZF-R3” and “R3“. The trademark applications were filed Jan. 6 and are still under review, but once approved, we should expect Yamaha to introduce a new YZF-R3 soon after.
