Yamaha YZ description

1980 Yamaha Yz125 , This on-owner125 YZ Yamaha dirt bike is a Jewel It has never been raced or ridden hard. There are no rips in the seat, damaged handlebars, or bent rims on this bike. Back in the day, I had Lucky Yamaha of Lemon Grove set up my top end , with the two ring set up, for more longevity. other than that work, the engine has not been touched. This bike will start up second or third kick, every time. This bike is ready to be ridden as-is, or make it perfect, for your collection. The bike has an extra aluminum front rim, an extra expansion chamber, and a extra mono shock. It has, a brand-new chain and sprockets, and a brand new air filter. The front tire is the tire that came with the bike, and it looks new. The rear tire is still good and is the second tire that has been on the bike. However, if you plan on racing this bike or taking long rides in rough terrain, I recommend putting new tires on the bike that will suit your needs. This bike is easy to ride, it has a broad power band, and doesn't foul plugs. The bike comes with a clear title, pink slip, and a, Off Highway green sticker registration ( good through, June 2014). $2,000.00 6193155804

Fri, 14 Feb 2014

Around here, it’s no secret we’re fans of the Yamaha FZ-09 (MT-09 for those reading this outside the U.S.). It’s a great do-it-all motorcycle, and for $7990 it’s a great value, too. Apparently, Mark Toia is well aware of how useful the FZ-09 can be as well.

Yamaha Pro Am madness, the best one make championship ever?

Sat, 18 Dec 2010

I’m biased of course, but the best one make road race championship has to be the Yamaha RD 350LC Pro Am series. Back in the days when manufacturers had spare cash (1980 to be precise), Mitsui Yamaha organised this televised championship at major British race meetings to promote the recently launched, and now iconic, Yamaha RD350LC. Twenty four riders (twelve established and twelve rookies) were chosen by a panel of experts then given a completely free season of racing with a very generous prize fund thrown in.
