1977 Yamaha XS 750 (1977)
This motorcycle is in great condition. It was given fresh paint and upholstery in 2007. It gets regular service, and only synthetic oil. No mechanical issues and no leaks. It starts and runs well. But it is 36 years old and does have its quirks, such as being cold blooded, and it sometimes requires feathering of the throttle at stops. The bike does have normal patina for its age, and I have included several photos to show examples. This a great looking classic 1970s bike, and I get a lot of complements, especially because it is a triple. For your consideration, is a 1977 yamaha xs 650,This auction is for what is pictured only frame engine carbs tank ONLY!! i purchased this with the intention of making it into a cool chop, but no cash or time left , so my loss is your gain, The engine has good compression andkicks over well, there is no electric start, the kicker has a brass kicker pedal,there is chrome valve covers and acorn nuts, i have never had the engine running or apart, so i cannot say with certainty, of the condition, i was told from the previous owner it was gone through, but i have no way of documenting this. The device will probably be called the Tricity 300 and will presumably be powered by a 292cc engine from the 28hp XMax 300 maxi-scooter. The motorcycle used the YZ450F motocross engine layout with the cylinder turned back and the intake and exhaust turned 180 degrees. The engine is housed in a new aluminum frame based on the aforementioned YZ450F.
