Yamaha XS description
1981 Yamaha XS650 Street Tracker, Gene Romero tribute, no expense spared, AHRMA Listing for a senior friend of mine who is not an Ebayer. A dirt tracker that is fully street legal ! He built it over a number of years and it was a labor of love for a Gene Romero fan (see final pic for Gene's track bike). Clean IL title in hand. Many parts from Omar's Dirt Tracking. There is a little under $11,000 in this build. This bike always draws a crowd at bike rallies / shows and has been in several national magazines. ____________________________________________________

Build your own Yamaha VMax
Tue, 15 Jun 2010For the origami fans out there, Yamaha have a printable Paper Craft version of their VMax motorcycle (or should that be PMax - P for paper obviously) Download each of the five individual PDF pages and get folding. Might want to stock up on printer ink and A4 paper though as it looks like it will be a frustrating model. As it looks fairly impossible and time consuming I'm putting the challenge out for anyone to go out and complete the paper model themself.
Yamaha Kicks Off 2013 MotoGP Promotional Campaign with Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo – Video
Tue, 15 Jan 2013We’re just over two weeks into the new year which means it’s time for MotoGP teams to start the promotional push for their 2013 MotoGP programs. Ducati is set to reveal its Desmosedici GP13 today at its annual Wrooom ski event with Ferrari‘s Formula One team later today, but Yamaha has gotten the jump on its Italian rival by releasing new photographs and a video of ex-Ducati rider Valentino Rossi and reigning World Champion Jorge Lorenzo. Also revealed is the 2013 Yamaha M1, though the racebike is shrouded in graphical overlays of its pilots and devoid of any sponsor logos including the newly signed supporter Monster Energy.
Brammo Earns Seventh Place Against Gas Bikes
Mon, 06 May 2013This past weekend, Brammo arrived to Sonoma Raceway in Central California ready to do battle. Only this time the electric sportbike manufacturer would be trading blows not with other electric bikes, but with their ICE counterparts at the second round of the American Federation of Motorcyclists series — one of the oldest club racing organizations in the country. We recently mentioned Brammo’s eligibility with AFM, and this weekend was the first outing. Team Icon Brammo and its two riders Eric Bostrom and Steve Atlas competed on the Empulse RR machines while third rider, Shelina Moreda, rode the Team Parker Brammo Empulse TTX — a modified version of the road-legal Empulse.
