This is a very clean 1976 XS650C. Its a great ride nice and a blast to drive!

I just don't have the time or space for it anymore. Time for someone else to enjoy.

Super cool bike. Hard to find one in this condition these days.

Millage: approx. 21,500

Things that I have done:
-New air filters
-New air filter boots
-New Kick start seal
-New Oil sump filter (Screen type Upgrade over paper!)
-Magnetic drain plugs!
-New lower end Gaskets
-New Starter gear and spring clip asm (adjusted to updated location)
-Upgraded steering stem to a tapered bearing (Extra smooth!)
-New Steering head nut.
-New rubber dampers for foot rest mounts
-New Oil Filter
-New Fuel filters
-Adjusted Tappets to spec
-High Performance Clutch Friction Plates
-XS Performance Clutch Springs washer
-Needle bearing clutch thrust washer
-Replaced and rebuilt clutch hub crush bushing assembly
-Cleaned and electronically balanced the carbs
-New main fuel lines
-New Carb boots
-Replaced stock ignition points with Pamco Ultimate High Output Ignition system (14-0914) (This thing is awesome!)
-Yellow spark plug wires
-Iridium spark plugs to go along with the new ignition
-dynamically timed the engine with a strobe
-Replaced clutch push rod with long one piece type
-Replaced clutch push rod bushing and seal
-Rebuilt the petcocks
-New engine vent tubes and strain relief


Extra parts not on bike:
-New rear break shoes
-New front break pads
-A few assorted Gaskets
-clymer's manual
-sweet canvas saddle bags!

Cosmetic concerns:
Small dent in front of tank, few scratches in paint and pipes just from its age. Screw broke off on front fender mount not noticeable and does not move with out it.

2011 AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike Champion Danny Eslick

Danny Eslick won his second career AMA Daytona Sportbike Championship, adding another #1 plate to the one he won in 2009. The Geico Powersports RMR Suzuki GSX-R600 rider won three races this season and added another five podium finishes to win the title by a 275-256 margin over Monster Energy Graves Yamaha’s Josh Herrin. Eslick clinched the title after finishing sixth in the first race of the 2011 season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes

KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
