1972 Yamaha XS650 Original paint, chrome, handlebars, seat, gauges, fenders, everything except the slip on mufflers are an aftermarket muffler and they function well. It starts and runs good, shifts, brakes and the lights work too. The carbs were recently cleaned and the bike was tuned up, valves set, timing etc.... The mufflers are aftermarket and function nicely. The tires are good and the gauges work. Rims and spokes are original and very solid with just a few small rust spots. The fuel tank has some exterior oxidation as is evident on the lower right side, however, the tank is very solid and the rust is only surface rust. Chain and sprockets are good and function well. There are 3 small rips in the seat cover. It does have new air filters as well. This is not a perfect restored bike as you can see. But, it is an original time capsule. Bid to win!!! 2012 Yamaha XT250 and TW200 Dual Sports Announced
Wed, 08 Jun 2011Yamaha unveiled a pair of 2012 dual sport models, the Yamaha XT250 and the Yamaha TW200. Both the 2012 Yamaha XT250 and TW200 remain unchanged from the 2011 versions except for a new white and blue color scheme and white front fenders instead of last year’s black fenders. The XT250 is powered by an air-cooled 249cc four-stroke engine with a 33mm carburetor.
