                Product Description1995 YAMAHA WR250 I BOUGHT THIS WR AS A BACK UP BIKE FOR TRAIL RIDES. THE PRIOR OWNER TOOK VERY GOOD CARE OF IT AND RODE A FEW TIMES A YEAR. I INSTALLED A NEW AIR CLEANER AND CHANGED THE OIL. I HAD THE COMPRESSION TESTED AND THE RESULT WAS 148. THE BIKE STARTS QUICKLY AND RUNS EXTREMELY WELL. I DECIDED TO SELL IT BECAUSE AFTER TEST RIDING IT IN AN OPEN AREA I FIND THAT IT IS MORE SUITED FOR THE RIDER THAT LIKES AND EVEN MIX OF TRACK AND TRAIL. I ONLY RIDE TRAILS WITH MY SON AND WILL NOT USE THIS BIKE TO IT'S FULL CAPACITY. The decision, while unfortunate, isn’t hard to understand, as racing at the highest levels isn’t cheap, and a factory involvement means added pressure to succeed, which ultimately means spending more money to do so. Through it all, however, Yamaha has remained involved with the sport, fielding factory teams and sponsoring various riding schools and even racetracks.
