Yamaha WR tech info
Yamaha WR description
Hello this was just traded in this past week. It is in really good shape and doesn't have major hours on it. It Starts right up and runs good. I rode it and the suspension needed to be adjusted is all, so we turned on the rear Damping screws to improve it. Good chain and sprockets, good tires too. You could get a decal kit and have it looking good! WR models came with taller transmission gearing and a bigger fuel tank for use in hare scrambles our enduro competitions. Here is a collector or one to use in Vintage Competitions? It wont need a lot of investment to go riding or making it all original. The expansion Chamber is original but the tailpipe is not. This is a taxable item in Iowa, at 7 % of the final auction price. No other fees apply. If it is shipped by bill of sale we can for go the Tax and you would be at the mercy of the state you reside or not? Located in Sheldon Iowa in northwest Iowa, at Glens Sport Center, 51201. Braaap

Kenny Roberts Motorcycle Collection Up For Sale
Wed, 25 Apr 2012Motorcycling legend Kenny Roberts has commissioned RMD Motors to auction off some rare and exclusive motorcycles from his collection, presumably to make room for more. The Japan-based company is known the world over for its collection of rare and classic motorcycles for sale, many of which are retired grand prix machines fortunate enough to escape the fate of most decommissioned racebikes: the crusher. Headlining the Roberts collection is the 2004 Proton KRV5 originally ridden by Kurtis Roberts, King Kenny’s youngest son. The five-cylinder grand prix machine never achieved much success on the world stage, but will easily make you the center of attention at your local trackday.
Yamalube Motor Oil Video is Educational, British, and Brainwashing
Tue, 16 Jun 2009Yamaha Motor Europe have just posted a new video up on Youtube about their Yamalube motor oil and why you should use it on your Yamaha products. They are pretty damn convincing or very good at brainwashing! The video is pretty educational, explaining how motorcycle engines and car engines are very different, what a motorcycle engine really needs, and why Yamalube is very well suited for the job. Various graphs, charts, shots of scientists making oil, and the accented British narrator have further convinced me that I need to get Yamalube and perhaps even be adding it into my morning bowl of cereal.
This is Jorge Lorenzo’s New Motorcycle: Yamaha YBR250
Tue, 07 Feb 2012You would figure a former MotoGP World Champion and one of the top motorcycle racers on the planet would have his pick for a streetbike. Not if he doesn’t have a motorcycle license and is practicing for his riding test however. In 2010 MotoGP Champion Jorge Lorenzo‘s case, his ride is the Yamaha YBR250.
