Yamaha Virago description

1993 Yamaha Virago Bobber. 535cc. Awesome looking bike. Lots of custom work. Additional pictures and videos of it running are available so please message me if you are interested. This bike looks and sounds awesome. What you see is what you get. It runs and rides well. Has been dyno tuned after reworking the custom-built intake and tuning the S&S carb. You don't see bobbers like this around often.

It does have some minor cosmetic and mechanical issues easily fixed by anyone who is even the slightest bit mechanically inclined. The bike does have some paint missing on the engine case from fuel being spilled on it and a small knick on the rear fender from the seat touching on large bumps in the road. Simply repaint those spots and its as good as new. It does need a new fuel hose clamp on the output line to stop it from leaking and to make sure it runs well. The inside of the tank could use to be cleaned as well although it does run fine as is now.

Clean title in hand. Sold as is. Moving and can't take all my bikes with me. Shipping can easily be arranged via UShip.com.

This weekend, the MotoGP circus makes its way to the United States for round two of the world championship, held at the stunning new Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, the first time the track will host a world championship level motorcycle event. Expect to see the world’s fastest racebikes reach speeds over 200 mph on the 1 km (0.62-mile) back straight, and bring ear plugs — these bikes are loud! Fresh off a 1-2 finish in the season opener in Qatar, Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi are looking to carry the momentum to CotA.

Last Year’s Surprise Podium Finisher Katsuyuki Nakasuga to Wild Card at Japanese GP

Fri, 23 Aug 2013

Katsuyuki Nakasuga, the surprise podium finisher at last year’s MotoGP finale in Valencia, will have the chance to catch lightning in a bottle once again, after being granted a wild card entry to the 2013 Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi. Nakasuga shocked the racing world with a second-place finish at the Valencian Grand Prix last November as an injury replacement for then-Yamaha factory rider Ben Spies. Nakasuga made the cagey decision to run slick tires in the wet race.
