Yamaha V Star description

2008 Yamaha V Star 1300, 2008 Yamaha XVS 1300 - Color matched front bat wing, 4 pocket screen bag, crash bar with lower wind protector, light bar, Locking hard bags, Rear docking tour pack with back rest, Upgraded Hand grips, LOW LOW MILES!!! OUR MOST POWERFUL V STAR All things in moderation, nothing in excess. That’s the idea behind the V Star 1300. At the heart of it beats a fuel-injected 80 cube engine, surrounded by a chassis built to handle. Finished off with a little streamlined style and plenty of Star quality engineering.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.

Charges Laid Against Suspect for 185 mph Yamaha R1 YouTube Video

Fri, 13 Jul 2012

Remember that video on YouTube about the rider going 185 mph on a highway in Canada? The video went viral and eventually led to the seizure of a Yamaha R1 and $1,449 (Canadian) in traffic tickets issued to its owner. In April, police in Saanich, British Columbia believed they had enough evidence to seize the R1 and issued tickets to the registered owner for speeding, operating without due care and attention, and operating without insurance.

Colin Edwards’ Gear Being Auctioned For Feed The Children

Tue, 29 Jul 2014

While Colin Edwards may no longer be a factory Yamaha racer these days, he still enjoys a close bond with the tuning fork brand. So much so that Yamaha has announced a unique opportunity to bid on a historic set of road racing leathers, boots, gloves, and helmet as worn by Edwards during this, his final season in MotoGP. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Feed the Children, which is Yamaha Motor Corporation’s official corporate charity.
