I bought this bike a month ago to ride from Atlanta to Cincinatti and back.

I paid $3000, spent $380 on a new tire, oil and air filter change.

It stated first time, every time. pops and crackles. a small stone chip in the front fender. a dent in the front fender from a tie down strap. rusty bolts on handle bars.

Catalina Island (California) Grand Prix Slated for 2010 Return [video]

The Catalina Grand Prix was last run in 1958 on Santa Catalina Island, an island community situated approximately 22 miles south-southwest of greater Los Angeles. Efforts by the AMA, AMA District 37, Big6 (a smaller collection of clubs within the D-37 region) and promotional company My Cuz Vinnie Promotions LLC, have secured December 3-5, 2010 as dates for the event, with a 100-mile professional race held on the 5th. In 2008 vintage motorcycles were displayed on Crescent Ave.

OK, so it's only for kids, but the new Yamaha M1 WGP 50th Anniversary Balance Bike is still quite cool. Aimed at kids between 2 and 6 years old, it's the same Kiddimoto superbike design that's been around for a few years, and costs the same as the standard Kiddimoto. Which means you effectively get the special graphics and Yamaha branding free of charge.

Yamaha's roadster now has one more achievement on the long list - this time the bike was awarded with the prestigious Red Dot Award for design. It is the fifth in a row for this model and the fifth for the company. Not bad huh!
