Yamaha V Star description

Up for bid, from the estate of a motorcycle enthusiast, is a very low mileage, ONLY 986 ACTUAL MILES, Yamaha XVS 1100 V Star, This motorcycle was part of a huge collection and has been setting, along with other bikes, for over 10 years. The owner, having fun, added a pair of rear LED turn signals as well as a pair of long "Shotgun style" loud drag pipes.  Bike has just been taken from the estate, carbs removed and cleaned, as well as the fuel tank and the rest of the fuel system. A new battery was then installed, along with new plugs and the bike started right up. Tires are like new and have no cracks.  I rode it about 5 miles and found it to be very responsive and powerful, for a 1100 V twin, as well as also  sounding great. This motorcycle is as new as it gets for it's age. Bike has only two small flaws, first is the left handgrip, that has a cut and second, the rear fender has a small scratch that appears to be on the clear but not thru  the color and should buff out.  Overall this is really a nice motorcycle.  PLEASE only serious bidders.  Only 48 states,   Pickup only.   Thanks

After a day of rest, Sunday’s stage seven was characterized by rain during the night and a new Dakar country – Bolivia. After an early start at 4:30 in the morning, the first 62 miles of the special stage into Bolivia had to be shortened due to rain and poor visibility, low-hanging clouds that prevented the helicopters from taking off creating security issues. The route led across the Andes and towards the Bolivian border.
