Yamaha V Star description

Up for sale is my 2006 Yamaha XVS1100, after purchasing I found it to be too small for me to ride comfortably and parked it in the garage for over 2 years now.

Pictures tell most of the story, the bike is in good shape with relatively low miles at 9K. Nice color, nice bike.

The only issue is from sitting, common problem is the float is stuck so it sometimes likes to send gas out the overflow so this will have to be fixed otherwise I would say fly in and drive it away. If can work on that issue you probably can ride it home with a little work.

May need a rear tire soon but the one on is fine.

No reserve!

Bike is located near either Interstate 16 or Interstate 95 in Savannah, Georgia.

EMail me with any questions.

Thanks!

Day 3 Dakar 2014: Barreda Maintains Overall Lead, Despres Catches Up

Tue, 07 Jan 2014

Joan Barreda won his second special stage this year and now boasts a lead of more than 13 minutes over Cyril Despres and Marc Coma, the two other beneficiaries of a particularly decisive stage. Today’s stage, part one of the first marathon stage with no team service, was characterized by the highest ever racing altitude in Dakar history. Facing the 22,841 foot summit of the Aconcagua, South America´s highest mountain, the motorcycle riders had to cross a pass over 14,107 feet in elevation in trial-like conditions.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Las Vegas Results

Mon, 07 May 2012

Ryan Dungey scored his fourth win of the season but it was not enough to take second place in the points race behind champion Ryan Villopoto. That honor went to JGRMX Yamaha‘s Davi Millsaps who placed second to Dungey in the season-ending race at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. Dungey took the holeshot and led every lap to take the win for Red Bull KTM.

Yamaha Reports Q2 2013 Sales Results

Tue, 06 Aug 2013

Yamaha bounced back from a poor first quarter with sales of 1.530 million motorcycles over the second quarter ended June 30, 2013. The results represent a 1.5% increase from the 1.507 million motorcycles sold in the same quarter last year. Still, Yamaha’s first half motorcycle sales total of 3.0 million units remains behind last year’s tally of 3.1 million units because of the weak first quarter sales.
