Yamaha V Star description

I have my 2003 Yamaha vstar  1100 custom for sale. This bike runs great and has low miles. Only 11900 miles and ready to cruise. Almost everything on this bike is chrome. The front and rear tires are both like new and the battery is only one month old. The bike has always ran synthetic oil and changed every 3000 miles. Has after market pipes and it has been re  jetted. Has custom forward controls, bullet rear signals, all braided stainless lines, kuryakyn  grips, lowered, chrome rear rack and rear seat included, lots of chrome parts from the vstsr  line on the swing arm and on the side covers, has a drag specialties tach. Nothing wrong with bike except tach needle doesn't always work. It jumped below the pin. Everything mechanical on the bike is in excellent shape.trans shifts smooth and motor runs great. Never had a problem with this bike. I love it but moving up to a bagger for longer trips, this is a no reserve auction and I may end early because bike is also for sale locally. Clean and clear Michigan title.

2009 Yamaha R1 Reviewed!

Tue, 20 Jan 2009

Get the Flash Player to see this player. After much speculation and anticipation regarding the 2009 YZF-R1, MO finally got some seat time in the recently updated numero uno. After hearing much about this new “Cross-plane crankshaft” technology, we were ready to write it off as media hype and PR propaganda, but it turns out that the Yamaha R1 has actually tightened the gap between MotoGP technology and street applications.
