Very nice 2001 V Star 650 Classic, purple. 20,217 miles. Lots of chrome. Items added to the bike include: Silverado saddlebags and brackets- $500.00, passing lamps and mounts - $230.00, passing lamp visors - $46.00, turn signal visors - $46.00, headlight visor - $45.00, luggage rack - $131.00, chrome instrument visor - $60.00, rear fender tip $90.00, clear turn signal lenses and tail light - $30.00, front and rear new tires - $300.00, highway bars and kruzzer kaddy.
As you can see a lot has been added to the bike. Runs good and is low miles for a 2001 bike.

Casey Stoner to Retire After 2012 MotoGP Season

Two-time MotoGP World Champion Casey Stoner has announced he will retire following the end of the 2012 season. Rumors of Stoner’s impending retirement plans have been floating around for weeks with the 26-year-old Repsol Honda racer saying he will continue racing until he no longer enjoyed it. That seems to be the case now as the 2007 and 2011 MotoGP Champion announced he will retire at a press conference ahead of this weekend’s French Grand Prix at Le Mans.

Yamaha to Open Plant in Pakistan

Yamaha is reportedly planning to open a new manufacturing facility in Pakistan. According to the Associated Press of Pakistan, Yamaha would invest $150 million in the new 50 acre facility, to be located in Karachi, Pakistan’s main seaport and financial hub. The plant would produce motorcycles for the Pakistani market, as well as models to be exported to other Commonwealth of Independent States nations.
