Recent local trade here at our store, this lady ridden 2000 Yamaha V Star 650 cruiser. The bike is very clean everywhere you look with only one very small ding in the right side of the tank. (pictured) The 650 cc engine runs great and the bike shifts as it should. This V star had added floor boards, custom grips, handlebars and risers. luggage rack, solo seat and highway pegs. The tires are in great condition and the bike had a recent carb service.If your looking for a nice clean inexpensive bike call Scott at 615 476 1195 for further info. Mon, 28 Feb 2011As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment. I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.

Wed, 26 Sep 2012It’s no secret that promoter Dorna Motorsports has been trying to push a standardized electronics control unit for teams in the MotoGP World Championship. The lack of a top-tier electronics package has been one of the biggest challenges faced by MotoGP’s claiming rule teams, and a spec ECU would narrow the gap between the CRT bikes and the factory prototypes. The manufacturers competing in the series, Honda, Ducati and Yamaha, understandably are resistant to the idea considering the effort they’ve put in to develop their electronics systems.
