Like new Yamaha 1100 V-Star Classic, 19000 original miles, black. Has Cobra pipes, Mustang seat with back rest and 2 up seat, trunk with back rest, engine guard with cruiser pegs, removable and lockable leather saddle bags, iPod sound system ( iPod not included ) and windshield bag. This bike has been garage kept since new and never been down. One very small dent in tank from handle bar while installing handle bar risers. Runs great and sounds great. Yamaha Reports Q2 2013 Sales Results
Tue, 06 Aug 2013Yamaha bounced back from a poor first quarter with sales of 1.530 million motorcycles over the second quarter ended June 30, 2013. The results represent a 1.5% increase from the 1.507 million motorcycles sold in the same quarter last year. Still, Yamaha’s first half motorcycle sales total of 3.0 million units remains behind last year’s tally of 3.1 million units because of the weak first quarter sales.
Frog eBike – the Electric Successor to 1985 Frog FZ750 Concept
Tue, 03 Apr 2012San Francisco-based Frog Design released images of a new electric motorcycle concept, just as its influential Yamaha FZ750-based Rana concept gets enshrined at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Frog designer Jin Soek Hwang prepared the Frog eBike concept as an expression of how electric motor technology can influence motorcycle design. In a post on Frog’s blog, the designer says he was inspired in part by Frog’s 1985 FZ750 Rana concept (pictured after the jump).
AMA Supercross: 2012 Anaheim II Results
Mon, 06 Feb 2012The 2012 AMA Supercross season is shaping up to be a tight one, with four racers and former champions healthy and jockeying for position on top of the points standings. Ryan Villopoto, Chad Reed, Ryan Dungey and James Stewart have all claimed wins in the first four rounds. After the second Anaheim round, the four contenders, representing four different manufacturers, are separated by just 13 points.
