Selling my 08 Classic at a no reserve price, bid to win. The bike is like brand new. I bought a new one. This has 3,300 miles. not 33,000. It has been babied, It has had the oil changed 3 times as well as the shaft oil. The bike has lots of extras. It has mustang tank bra, highway running lights, flame foot boards and highway pegs. It has Cobra pipes that sound amazing. The bike was jetted. It has Saddlemen saddle bags mounted as well as a corbin rear seat. The tires are original. They are in great shape, barely any wear. The bike has never been down. it is adult ridden. Has really only been highway miles. The bike leaks no fluids. The bike performs as it should. This is the nicest Vstar you can get. I have two other brand new seats, i have a brand new sissy bar. Everything is studded and good quality. I have the original exhaust and headers, I have all of the original parts that i took off to put on the modifications. I have the paperwork from the dealership. i have the receipts and manual. I have a mustang bra for the rear fender if you decide you dont want a passenger and you want to take the seat off. The bike has not seen the rain. The bike is ready to go! Think You’re a Smooth Rider? Yamaha’s SmartRiding App Will Prove It

Yamaha has released a new app that records and evaluates riding habits. The free Yamaha SmartRiding app (available now in the App store) uses the Apple devices sensors to measure basic telemetry to evaluate how smoothly you handle curves. The app requires the device to be firmly fixed to the motorcycle in either a vertical or horizontal arrangement (the app is compatible with iPhones, iPods and iPads, though I’m not sure how many people will mount a tablet to their motorcycle).

Day 6 Dakar 2014: Duclos Wins Stage, Palante Found Dead

Sherco rider Alain Duclos took today’s stage, eight years after his first win in Bamako. With three top five finishes this year Duclos has proven his own increased competitiveness as well as that of the Sherco 450 Rally bike he’s aboard. In more tragic news, the body of Belgian rider, Eric Palante was found Friday morning on a part of the fifth stage route that riders completed on Thursday.

Day 3 Dakar 2014: Barreda Maintains Overall Lead, Despres Catches Up

Joan Barreda won his second special stage this year and now boasts a lead of more than 13 minutes over Cyril Despres and Marc Coma, the two other beneficiaries of a particularly decisive stage. Today’s stage, part one of the first marathon stage with no team service, was characterized by the highest ever racing altitude in Dakar history. Facing the 22,841 foot summit of the Aconcagua, South America´s highest mountain, the motorcycle riders had to cross a pass over 14,107 feet in elevation in trial-like conditions.
