Yamaha Stratoliner description

Bought this when it had about 11K on it. Beautiful bike, haven't ridden for the past 3 seasons due to back problems. Aftermarket accessories include, cruise control, speakers and plugin for IPOD/ MP3 player, crash bars, Mustang seats for both rider and passenger, Yamaha floorboards for the passenger. Bike is a powerhorse with a 1854 CC engine. Never abused, always stored in the winter, oil changes every 3K. A beauty, with only minor cosmetics, minimum rust, dings, etc. I note some condensation in the glass over the speedometer, easily remedied - the gauges, speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, tachometer are all working perfectly. I just removed it and was able to get almost all of the condensation out of what appears to be inside the plexi window, there was not the tiniest drop on the actual gauges themselves. See new pictures.

Currently, I owe about 2K on it, but, once paid for, it's an easy transaction to get the title. Take advantage of all the good Fall riding weather left (there is a plug for Gerbings on it as well). I had this hauled to the Dragon a few years back, and it performed flawlessly. NEVER dropped or in any accidents. What else is cool about this model, is that you can easily remove the windshield and the sissy bar.

I'm sure I have the manual for this somewhere, as some other stuff, I believe an aftermarket manual.

Don't pass on this beauty!

Yamaha Quitting World Superbike Racing After 2011 Season

Mon, 01 Aug 2011

Yamaha announced it is withdrawing its factory World Superbike Championship race team following the end of the 2011 season. The news comes as a bit of a surprise, just a week after reports the team had re-signed racer Marco Melandri for the 2012 season. On the other hand, the team has struggled to find a title sponsor this season, as has Yamaha’s MotoGP team.

Scott Russell Returning To Yamaha Champions Riding School Next Week

Wed, 10 Sep 2014

This just in from the Yamaha Champions Riding School: the Champ is back! As many of you know, Scott fell off a dirtbike and tumbled around long enough to hurt himself back in July. But he just called and drawled, “I’ll be back for the school as soon as I’m able to ride…let’s fill it up and have some fun!”  With the final round of the AMA SuperBike series coming to New Jersey Motorsports Park this weekend, it’s a perfect time for Mr.

2015 Yamaha FZ-07 Certified by California Air Resources Board

Tue, 20 May 2014

Although Yamaha has yet to announce the FZ-07 for American consumption, new documents from the California Air Resources Board lead us to believe it’s on its way to U.S. dealers. The FZ-07 was first revealed last fall at EICMA as the MT-07, which is the name it is being sold under in Europe, Japan and other markets.
