2014 Yamaha Bolt Custom. Custom Bug Out style. Yamaha accessory spoke wheels (wider version on rear), TKC80 tires, Progressive Suspension shocks and fork springs, Hageman subframe and seat combo, custom built racks. Hageman skid plate, V&H Exhaust (sounds wicked!), Kuryakyn intake, Burly Brand bars, Built in USB port, Dynojet fuel controller, Burly Brand, waxed canvas luggage and Burly moto pegs. Tank was stripped to raw metal and clear powder coated. Bike is fun as hell to ride and never ceases to draw a crowd. Low mileage, well taken care of machine. None other like it! Bunch of other project bikes have relegated it to the corner. Can help with US based shipping.

OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes

KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.

Yamaha released a new microsite teasing the launch of two models, expected to be the production versions of the YZF-R25 (or perhaps YZF-R3 for certain markets) and the Tricity leaning three-wheeled scooter.
