Yamaha Road Star tech info
Yamaha Road Star description
2005 Yamaha Road Star Silverado 1700, This is a 2005 Roadstar that is a ONE owner bike and fully loaded. It has a 1700cc engine, black cherry metallic paint, Silverado package, front and rear floorboards, Mustang seat and Vance and Hines Longshot pipes. There are many more up grades to mention just give me a call. My grandfather brought it brand new and has used only Mobil 1 V-Twin Synthetic oil, and has the manual as well as all the service records. He has rode this bike from Shawnee to Alaska and to all the western states in the U.S. and never had a mechanical problem at all. The only problems it has is a tiny hail ding in the tank (as you can see in the pic) and a 2 1/2 inch scratch on the right crash bar from the front tire slipping in the sand at an intersection turn. He is 72 and has maintained this bike better than anyone who buys will, it is just time for him to move on to a 4 wheeled motorcycle (aka Sportscar) Please give me a call, if you are looking for a cruiser, you can not beat this one for the price! $5995 obo 4059908362

Mon, 01 Aug 2011Yamaha announced it is withdrawing its factory World Superbike Championship race team following the end of the 2011 season. The news comes as a bit of a surprise, just a week after reports the team had re-signed racer Marco Melandri for the 2012 season. On the other hand, the team has struggled to find a title sponsor this season, as has Yamaha’s MotoGP team.
2014 AMA Supercross – St. Louis Results
Mon, 31 Mar 2014Don’t look now, but James Stewart is the hottest rider in the AMA Supercross Championship. The Yoshimura Suzuki rider won his third consecutive race and series-leading fifth victory of the season. But with Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto holding a comfortable lead with four rounds remaining, Stewart’s hot streak may be too little too late.
Yamaha Champions Riding School Returns To NJMP
Fri, 24 Jan 2014Good news for those saddened to hear the Yamaha Champions Riding School would not return to Miller Motorsports Park in 2014: the school is back, now operating from New Jersey Motorsports Park. The change in venue doesn’t come without a slight change in the instructor lineup. Nick Ienatsch and Ken Hill will still lead the way, joined by Mr. Daytona himself, Scott Russell, but a new addition to the star-studded instructor lineup has also been added: none other than Larry Pegram.
