Yamaha Road Star description

2005 Yamaha Road Star Midnight Warrior, All Stock, Low Miles. Trades Welcome! - The Road Star Warrior Is the Warrior a cruiser or a sportbike? The answer is yes. Yes, that's a pushrod, air-cooled, fuel injected, 102 cubic inch (1670cc) V-twin -- that'll blow your socks clean off. You'll appreciate the Warrior's superior power-to-weight ratio when you dump the clutch and that 200-section rear tire hooks up. When underway, you'll also appreciate that the Warrior was designed to stop and turn like a sportbike. The Warrior features... A lightweight aluminum frame 41mm inverted fork Monoblock brake calipers Sticky performance tires Three-spoke alloy wheels Ergo-friendly rider and passenger foot peg location Comfortable 2-piece seat New, 3D tank emblem Clear turn signal lenses The Road Star Midnight Warrior version has black paint, distinctive trim and appointments throughout. One ride and you'll know why Motorcyclist Magazine said, "It stops and turns and soaks up the bumps better than anything else in cruiserdom." No other bike feels, looks, or sounds like the Warrior. Total performance. Total Warrior. Road Star Warrior.

Just for a moment; leading the British GP

Tue, 12 Jun 2012

With his form matching the world's best in every event this year, on paper, this weekend should be his best chance so far to secure a podium or maybe even (making the dream come true!) take the first major class win in three decades.

Rossi 'training' at his MotoRanch

Mon, 30 Jan 2012

Like Kenny Roberts, Valentino Rossi has got his own ranch where he has built his own private motocross track and dirt oval. The above YouTube video shows Rossi training on the flat-track circuit that makes up his 'MotoRanch' located near his home town of Tavullia. He's shown riding a Yamaha, but that's probably because Ducati don't have themselves a scrambler.
