This Yamaha Road Star Silverado is a Cruiser style motorcycle with an MSRP of . Power is provided by a -Stroke cc Air cooled OHV Pushrod V Twin engine with Automatic starter. The engine is paired with a -Speed Manual transmission and total fuel capacity is . gallons. The Road Star Silverado rides on Aluminum wheels with a HR front tire and a HR rear tire. The front suspension is a Telescoping Fork while the rear suspension is a Twin Sided Swing Arm. Front Dual Disc brakes and rear Disc brakes provide for the stopping power. The Road Star Silverado comes standard with Two-Piece -passenger seating. This 1 comes with the Ultimate Star seat with backrest and passenger seat with backrest complete front end lighting kit and chrome accent to front fender. The windshield is custom cut and has lower air deflectors. The carburetor has been upgraded with a jetting kit the smog removed and a custom air filter and cover has been installed. Chrome engine guards with highway pegs LED brake on the rear with cover and various custom chrome pieces installed including an electric gear plug. The tires are Metzler whitewall tires in near new condition - hard to tell any wear. Roadhouse exhaust installed a chrome luggage rack and custom chromed out rear fender with lighting kit and license. Only Amsoil products pre-owned on this bike and it has only miles. I also have the color matched locking storage boxes that are separate and not on the bike at this time. All original parts including seats exhaust carburetor cover smog etc. This bike has over invested in it and is 1 of the nicest cruising bikes around. Ride any bike and then check this 1 out. You will see it is clean well worth paying a little more for a whole lot of extra stuff that will save you thousands of dollars and time since it is already installed. It is a must see for anyone who is interested in this type of bike or just wants a stable cruiser that is made with safety in mind for riding with 1 or two riders. Recall for 2009-2011 Yamaha V-Max

Yamaha is issuing a recall campaign on certain 2009-2011 V-Max power cruisers due to a potential risk of oil pump malfunction. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, abnormally high oil pressure can build up within the oil pump of certain Yamaha V-Max models. The high pressure may force the washer on the oil pump shaft against the oil pump housing, causing oil to stop pumping through the engine.

Tom Sykes has taken over the lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings after splitting race victories with Chaz Davies at Germany’s Nurburgring circuit. Both races ended prematurely however with red flags during the final laps. Pata Honda‘s Jonathan Rea and FIXI Crescent Suzuki‘s Leon Camier both crashed on the 18th lap of Race One after running into oil spilled on the track from Pedercini Kawasaki racer Federico Sandi‘s ZX-10R.

Rossi, Pedrosa Fastest In Second Sepang MotoGP Test

Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa topped the time sheets at the conclusion of the second MotoGP test at the Sepang track in Malaysia. Both clocked identical times of 1:59.999 to become the only riders to dip under the two minute mark the entire test. The hot and humid conditions in Sepang meant times wouldn’t be faster than they were in the first test here only a few weeks prior, and indeed, Rossi and Pedrosa’s time is 0.466 second slower than the fastest lap Marc Marquez set at the last test.
