IT IS TWO-TONE LIGHT METALLIC GREEN & DARK GREEN IN COLOR AND POWERED BY A 1602CC YAMAHA CARBURETED V-TWIN ENGINE AND 5-SPEED TRANSMISSION. THERE ARE SOME EXTRAS ON THE BIKE WHICH INCLUDE RIDER BACKREST, BRAIDED LEATHER LEVER COVERS, CUSTOM PINSTRIPING, CHROME EXHAUST. THE BIKE COMES WITH 3 KEYS, AND AN OWNERS MANUAL. THERE ARE NOT ANY DENTS, OR DINGS THAT I CAN FIND. THERE IS A MISSING TURN SIGNAL COVER, A COUPLE OF ROCK CHIPS TIP OF THE FRONT FENDER, AND LIGHT SCRATCHES ON THE LEFT SADDLEBAG. A nasty tumble in at the Brands Hatch opener lead to four DNFs, but once back on track he pushed the dominant BMWs hard, finishing on the podium eight times. While many were trading their grannies to fund new S1000RRs, Richards kept the faith and rode the wheels off his Padgett’s Honda Fireblade.
Yamaha Reveals PES1 and PED1 Electric Prototypes
Fri, 08 Nov 2013Yamaha is bringing two new electric motorcycle prototypes to the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show: the PES1 streetbike and the PED1 dirt bike. The nomenclature is a combination of the initials for Passion, Electric and Street for the street version and Dirt for the off-road model. Both prototypes are equipped with DC brushless electric motors powered by lithium-ion batteries.

In front of a record crowd of 46,896, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto raced to his second-consecutive AMA Supercross victory, an FIM World Championship, 450SX Class Main Event win at O.co Coliseum in Oakland, CA on Saturday night. Rockstar Energy Racing’s Davi Millsaps finished in second, and Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey followed in third.
