Yamaha Other description

My workshop is too full of stuff and something has to go. This RZ500 has been here for over a year since I sold it to Mr. Procrastination, and I'm tired of pushing it around , cleaning the carbs and waxing it. It doesn't make a good work bench or parts shelf (it is a great dust collector!). it just takes up space I could use for something productive. It's too nice a bike to roll out in the weeds to rust.  So, I'm getting it out of here one way or another while it's still a good motorcycle. I wouldn't want the tires to rot off of it waiting for MR. Procrastinator to come and collect it. So, here you go. It's a 1985 RZ500 Yamaha. It's recently been bored 1st oversize. Well, actually, it's been over a year ago. But it's just been sitting in my shop since then waiting for Mr. Procrastination to come and get it. So, only a very few miles on the top-end from running it up and down the road in front of my shop trying to keep the gas from going bad every time MR. Procrastinator says he's coming to get it. I just cleaned the carbs about a month ago and put fresh gas in it because Mr. Procrastinator said he was finally going to come and get it (again!). But as usual, he didn't show up (imagine that). So, it starts & runs fine. All the electrics work. I don't know if the battery is going to last much longer though since it has been mostly sitting around for a year thanks to the Master Procrastinator. I've kept it on a tender. So, it might be OK for a while yet. It has a clear title. So getting a plate for it should be no problem. I'm starting this auction with a huge opening bid so Procrastinators can have fun looking it. If it doesn't sell a guy in MN said he would keep the battery charged and the gas from going bad.

Payment will be due within 1 week of auction end, NO EXCEPTIONS. I will NOT store this thing more than 2 weeks. If you are related to MR. Procrastinator you loose it and your payment.

Rossi, Pedrosa Fastest In Second Sepang MotoGP Test

Fri, 28 Feb 2014

Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa topped the time sheets at the conclusion of the second MotoGP test at the Sepang track in Malaysia. Both clocked identical times of 1:59.999 to become the only riders to dip under the two minute mark the entire test. The hot and humid conditions in Sepang meant times wouldn’t be faster than they were in the first test here only a few weeks prior, and indeed, Rossi and Pedrosa’s time is 0.466 second slower than the fastest lap Marc Marquez set at the last test.
