THE SPOKE WHEELS ARE STRAIGHT AND THE TIRES ARE STILL IN GOOD USABLE CONDITION. VERY LOW MILES OF ONLY 6,644 ON THIS BIKE. THIS IS A GREAT MID SIZE CRUISER. ALSO HAS A SHIFT DRIVE. NO CHAIN TO MESS WITH OR GET LUBE ALL OVER THE REAR WHEEL. THIS BIKE CAME TO US WITH SOME DAMAGE. WE HAVE REPAIRED OR REPLACED THE PARTS THAT HAD DAMAGE. THE MOTORCYCLE COMES WITH A CALIFORNIA SALVAGE CERTIFICATE AND CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL VIN NUMBER INSPECTION. THIS IS A NICE LOOKING LOW MILE BIKE FOR A VERY FAIR PRICE. 2014 Yamaha MT-09 Three-Cylinder Street Bike Announced for Europe – to be Named FZ-09 in US

A couple of weeks ago, Yamaha Europe released a video called “Dark Side of Japan” teasing a new street bike it claimed would “change the sport motorcycle world.” Today, the company revealed its new model, introducing a new naked sportbike powered by a “Crossplane” three-cylinder engine called the MT-09. (EDIT: and we can now reveal that the North American version will be known as the Yamaha FZ-09.) The 2014 Yamaha MT-09 is powered by a new 847cc three-cylinder engine first teased at Intermot last year. According to Yamaha, the MT-09′s engine produces 113.4 hp at 10,000 rpm and 64.5 ft-lb.

Racing legend Giacomo Agostini celebrated his 70th birthday at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone this weekend, where he was celebrated by Yamaha. “Ago”, who holds the all-time record for Grand Prix wins (122) and Grand Prix World Championships (15), was feted in a ceremony that also included current Yamaha riders Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies as well as retired racers Loris Capirossi, Phil Read, John Cooper, Angel Nieto, Franco Uncini and Jim Redman, as well as MotoGP promoter Carmelo Ezpeleta and Yamaha Classic Racing Team principal Ferry Brouwer. Yamaha presented Agostini with a one-off T-Max scooter with livery inspired by his 1975 championship-winning YZR500 OW23.

Kenny Roberts is a true icon of motorcycle roadracing, being the first American to win a 500cc world title, then collecting two more before he moved on to team management. “Without Kenny, we might not be here,” said Colin Edwards, former World Superbike champion and current MotoGP rider, in the below video. “He was the godfather that brought us all over to Europe and showed us more or less that it was possible.
