YZF Yamaha R PRICE DROP- This bike has miles on. Has been adult driven and owned by a mechanic. Oil change done every miles. Tires are almost brand new. New brake pads installed last year. Bike has never been laid down and has a clear title. The only things done on the bike are an undertail kit flush mount turn signals and a tinted windscreen. I lowered the bike because I have short legs and like the lowered ride. I have the factory wind screenand bracket to bring the bike back up to factory height in the sale. The bike beautiful and is very clean for the year. The images really do not do it justice and have to see in person. Included in the sale will be a rear wheel stand and my padded jacket. Jacket size is a Large. This would make a great 1st bike or if you want a bike that has not been messed with. 2015 Yamaha FZ-07 Announced for Canada
Tue, 18 Mar 2014Yamaha announced it would import the MT-07 to Canada as the 2015 FZ-07. Until now, the twin-cylinder roadster had only been announced for Europe as the MT-07; there is no word the FZ-07 will be offered in the U.S., but the Canadian announcement is a good sign it may be coming soon. Revealed at EICMA, the FZ-07 slots in under the three-cylinder FZ-09 (known as the MT-09 outside of the North America) with a newly-developed liquid-cooled 689cc parallel-Twin engine.
AMA Pro Racing Announces Tommy Aquino Spirit Award
Wed, 12 Mar 2014The sudden and tragic passing of Tommy Aquino has hit the entire motorcycling community hard. In order to preserve and honor the spirit and positive attitude of the late Tommy Aquino, AMA Pro Racing announced today that a “Tommy Aquino Spirit Award” will be granted to an AMA Pro Road Racing rider who best embodies the spirit of the paddock during the 2014 season. The paddock will vote for the rider who exemplifies qualities mirroring those of Tommy including passion for the sport, fan engagement and team interaction. The award will be presented on behalf of Cortech and Shoei at the conclusion of the 2014 AMA Pro Road Racing season. “Over the past eight years we have had the pleasure of working with Tommy Aquino, but he was much more than just another Shoei athlete,” said Hiro Mizushima, President of Shoei Safety Helmet Corp.
Yamaha XSR900 wins again
Sun, 09 Apr 2017Yamaha's roadster now has one more achievement on the long list - this time the bike was awarded with the prestigious Red Dot Award for design. It is the fifth in a row for this model and the fifth for the company. Not bad huh!
