This is a Yamaha YZF-R sportbike. . . and I guarantee you not find a finer example of 1 with this assortment of well planned style and race aftermarket equipment. For the last years she has been my baby. . . and she has NEVER seen a race track, drag strip, wreck, tip-over or any sort of accident. . . never saw any sort of snow, salt, rain, hail, or bad weather of any kind. Always garage kept with a battery tender on it. I am the 2nd owner, and I bought it from him with miles on it and the break-in service just completed. The only people to ever ride it are the original owner, myself, and my mechanic. This R is a real head turner. . . when I pull into the local bike nights I have a lot of people coming up to me immediately. The custom exhaust with twin cans sounds incredible with a deep rumble in your chest while standing next to it, and a sharp bark in the upper RPMs. , miles!! I WILL SHIP THE BIKE!! EICMA 2013: Yamaha Reveals the Tricity
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Today, at the EICMA 2013 show, Yamaha unveiled what it is calling a new direction in its urban commuter category. The Tricity is a LMW (Leaning Multi Wheel) scooter aimed at folks who previously may not have considered a two-wheeled alternatives to public transportation. Day 2 Dakar 2014: Sunderland Wins First Special Stage
Mon, 06 Jan 2014Honda won the second day of competition with Team HRC’s Sam Sunderland claiming victory in the first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Sunderland has had a frustrating time at previous Dakars, dropping out after three days of racing in 2012 and withdrawing a month before last year’s event due to fracturing both his wrists. Today, however, Sunderland made a grand entrance into the club of elite riders by brilliantly winning his first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Having started well behind his teammate, Joan Barreda, the 23-year old Brit superbly overtook Michael Metge and Juan Pedrero on the first part of the route.
Isle of Man TT 2014: Monster Supersport TT 1 Results
Mon, 02 Jun 2014Gary Johnson narrowly beat out Bruce Anstey to take the first of two Supersport races at the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Riding the Daytona 675, Johnson’s win was the first for Triumph since 2003, ironically, with Anstey taking the victory that year in the Junior 600cc class. The race started three hours behind schedule due to fog, but once it began it quickly became a duel between Johnson and Anstey.
