Yamaha Other description

1998 Yamaha Vmax 1200, 1998 Yamaha V-Max 1200 with 38200 miles on odometer. Bike is in stock condition + GPS, which I installed. It will go with the bike, if you want. True original muscle bike/dragster. If you know the bike, you know what it means. If you don't - full throttle in any gear, let the V-Boost kick in at around 5750 rpm and clinch to the bike with your hands, feet and teeth. This is what earned this bike a forgiveness for all other shortcomings during a record breaking 20 years of production. Being a pioneer in a class of its own, it is certainly one of the most recognizable bikes in any biker community. It is a lot of fun!!! (714) 401-6779 $3,795.00 7144016779

Mon, 17 Feb 2014

Despite losing the World Supersport title last year to a hard-charging Sam Lowes, Mahi Racing Team India’s Kenan Sofuoglu, aboard his Kawasaki ZX-6R, hasn’t lost any of the pace that has made him the overwhelming favorite heading into 2014. He topped the timesheets on the first day of testing at Phillip Island, setting a time of 1:33.521, putting him at near lap-record pace. Second on the day was Dutchman Michael van der Mark, aboard the Pata Honda CBR600RR.

WSBK 2013: Moscow Race Report

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.

Pedrosa, Marquez, Bradl Talk About Racing, Motorcycles, And Each Other

Fri, 05 Apr 2013

In order to use footage from a Dorna-sanctioned MotoGP test session — say, for marketing or promotional reasons — a team must receive approval from Dorna. The process is tedious, and even if permission is granted, there are strict limitations as to what the material may or may not be used for. So when Honda decided to conduct its own private test (which Yamaha also joined), at the Circuit of the Americas, it was free from any and all Dorna mandates.
