No need to restore this Yamaha dual sport! It's in beautiful condition. . .always kept inside by the previous owner and myself. . .runs/drives/shifts like it should. . .6 gear transmission. . .vintage 2 stroke. . .never down; perfectly straight. Starts on 1st kick. . .everything working as it should...5400 mis showing.The bike was just serviced by a professional motorcycle mechanic (an elderly man/business owner, familiar with these old bikes), after, it had been parked for some years: carb cleaned/adusted; new gaskets; new transmission fluid; new high octane gasoline; chain adjusted/lubed; all electrical checked out (working correctly), and new tires and tubes. Title in hand. . .it's been on a Non Op status since 2001. Recall for 2006-2009 Yamaha FJR1300

Yamaha is recalling certain 2006-2009 FJR1300 sport-tourers due to a problem with the electrical system. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the ground joint connector of the wire harness on some Yamaha FJR1300 models may overheat and become deformed. If the electrical system is not properly grounded, the motorcycle’s electric components including the ignition system may malfunction, potentially causing the engine to stall.

Yamaha has patented the design for a new variant to its Tricity leaning three-wheeled scooter featuring a broader fairing resembling the TMax. Yamaha has previously announced it would introduce more leaning multi-wheeled vehicles, and this newly patented design may be the next one to go into production. The new design is heavily-based on the original Tricity.
