1974 Yamaha MX100 Bike has been in long term storage in a shipping container (20 + years was told) Overall the bike is in very good condition and is very complete only missing levers and front number plate. The tank was painted but the stickers appear to be original aas they were taped off . There are 2 small dents on the right side with the left nice. Also it is rust free on the inside! Motor kicks over and has compression. Was told it ran 2 years ago by the people I got it from. Has a dual plug head and Im pretty sure a DG pipe that is near perfect The plastic is very good for the age. Rear fender has had bolt pulled through and washer put in place under side and front shows a little aging (but very usable) Side panels are mint Seat has some seams that have let loose but extremely nice and can be sowed up. Tires are rotten. Chrome has pits but would clean up. Yamaha, Honda Donate to Thailand Flood Relief Efforts
Thu, 20 Oct 2011Honda and Yamaha announced relief aid for the people of Thailand affected by severe flooding that has swamped large parts of the country since late July. Yamaha and its Thai subsidiaries are donating a relief package worth about 30 million yen (US$390,000) including 3,000 life jackets. Yamaha is evaluating what items to provide including outboard motors.
