I purchased this 2015 Yamaha FZ6R in April of 2016. I bought it new from a local dealer and only put about 1,500 miles on it over the summer. Swapped out the front turn signals with flush mounts and the piece around the headlight with black instead of red. Runs great and only one scrape on the side fairing from my garage port. Not noticeable unless pointed out. The pick up is great and speed is plenty of fun. The bike's NADA "Suggested list price" is $7,790. NADA is what the banks use for their values and loans, etc. If you do not have the money up front for the bike, you can try Ebay's financing program or check with your local bank to see what they can do as well. Jorge Lorenzo Gets His Motorcycle License
Thu, 08 Mar 20122010 MotoGP Champion Jorge Lorenzo has earned his A2 Spanish motorcycle license. Last month, we learned Lorenzo was practicing for the test on a Yamaha YB250R motorcycle, and now the Yamaha factory racer has completed the practical portion of the test. Here he is pictured with his riding teacher Xavi Vallejo (and wouldn’t it be cool to tell people you taught a MotoGP World Champion how to ride a motorcycle?).
Kenny Roberts R1 Auction Nets $87,000 for Charity
Mon, 22 Aug 2011The one-off GYTR-equipped Yamaha YZF-R1 ridden by “King” Kenny Roberts at this year’s U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca was auctioned for $87,000. Roberts and late night television star Jay Leno were the special guest auctioneers for the R1 at Mecum’s Motorcycle Auction in Monterey, Calif.
AMA Supercross: 2012 Phoenix Results
Mon, 16 Jan 2012Ryan Dungey gave KTM its first ever AMA Supercross win, taking the holeshot and leading every lap in Phoenix, Ariz. With an audience of 49,236 watching at Chase Field, it was the field that had to chase Dungey during the main event. Dungey jumped out in front at the first corner followed by JGRMX Yamaha‘s Davi Millsaps and defending AMA Supercross Champion Ryan Villopoto of Kawasaki.
