Yamaha FJR tech info
Yamaha FJR description
This is the best bike I have ever owned. Moved on to a newer model.. If
you are familiar with this bike you know that it is almost bullet proof.
Bike is bone stock except for heated grips that work, a 5 in. over
sized extra windshield for the winter, handle bar risers, and Power
commander tuning module. There is some minor body damage due to a slip
and fall in a gravel parking lot. See photos. Also some expected wear
above the foot pegs from boots. Mileage is reflected in the price.
Believe the book price is right at $4000.00. Tires are decent but as a
BONUS I will provide front and rear pilot road 2's. That's over $250.00
value. Brakes pads were changed about 15K ago. I usually got about
40K. Runs great. Oil changes and other maintenance done by me. Synthetic
oil used. Fluids have been flushed in the last year. If you are looking
for a cost effective daily driver or just a weekend of carving the
mountain roads this is the bike you want. I have ridden 500 miles in a
day no problem. Buyer will pay for shipping. Location Atlanta Ga. area

Japan Needs Your Help
Thu, 17 Mar 2011By now, we’ve all seen pictures and video of the devastation in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and the ensuing tsunamis. Japan, of course, has contributed much to motorcycling, with the Big Four of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, as well as tire manufacturer Bridgestone, helmet companies Arai and Shoei and many other motorcycle industry stalwarts all coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Jon Bekefy and Greg Hatton, two motorcycle enthusiasts, industry employees and above all, humanitarians, have set up a fundraising campaign benefiting the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.

Best Helmet Designs from the 2009 MotoGP Season
Thu, 22 Oct 2009Unlike with most athletes, motorcycle racers’ faces remain hidden during competition. Except for promotional events or pre- and post-race interviews, the faces of our racing heroes are shielded under protective helmets with tinted visors. You don’t see the same human emotion in their faces like you can when soccer players score a goal or baseball players hit a home run.
