2005 Yamaha FJR 1300 Sport/Touring Motorcycle This motorcycle has very low miles, garage kept with many extras. It has professionally installed Delkevic performance mufflers, the baffles are removable if you like louder pipes (I have the original Yamaha mufflers included as well). It has cruise control throttle for long distant rides, 1 1/2 inch handle bar riser for more comfort, an upgraded windshield that is about 2 inches higher than the factory windshield which provides more wind or rain protection while riding on the highway, a removable rear trunk with key, a custom Corbin seat with removable backrest and of course the removable side hard cases with nylon carrier insert bags for carrying your items! This is an adult driven motorcycle that rides perfect, everything works, no issues, no leaks, never down. I hate to let it go but I'm getting a new one, so this one needs a new home! This is a No Reserve Auction! The buyer must be responsible with shipping and handling but I will assist the shipping company when they come to pick it up. Fri, 24 Sep 2010THE YAMAHA YZF-R1 ridden by nine-time motorcycle world champion Valentino Rossi at the 2009 TT has gone up for sale on eBay for £25,000.The 998cc 182bhp machine was ridden by Rossi when he lapped the Isle of Man TT course during a parade lap for Yamaha and Dainese in 2009. Authenticated by Yamaha Motors UK, this unique 181-mile machine has been signed by the multiple world champ and is being sold by Oldham-based Highbarn Motorcycles. Any takers?

Yankees in police uniforms are tired of riding on cruisers - a patrol version of the Yamaha FJR1300 tourer, which is sold in the New World market, was specially developed for them.
A breath of fresh air
Fri, 09 Nov 2012Dean Benstead's air-powered bike project, O2 Pursuit, which we spoke about a year ago, seems to have come along nicely since. Here's a video of the Australian's rotary air compression-engined Yamaha WR250R being taken out for a spin. Apparently it can hit 87 mph and cover more than 60 miles on a scuba-tankful's worth.
