Yamaha FJ-09 description

Purchased new in Jan 2015, and now has 430 miles. 

No known issues, and runs / rides perfectly. Adult owned and ridden by myself only, ridden as per Yamaha's recommendations for break-in period so far. Never dropped.

New Givi Windscreen included, and has made a terrific difference in comfort / wind protection.  Will also include the stock windscreen.

Dean Benstead's air-powered bike project, O2 Pursuit, which we spoke about a year ago, seems to have come along nicely since. Here's a video of the Australian's rotary air compression-engined Yamaha WR250R being taken out for a spin. Apparently it can hit 87 mph and cover more than 60 miles on a scuba-tankful's worth.

Yamaha EKIDS Concept Appearing at New York International Motorcycle Show

Yamaha is bringing its full 2014 line of motorcycles to the New York City stop of the International Motorcycle Shows tour. Along with the production models from Yamaha and the Star cruiser brand, the company will display the EKIDS electric dirtbike concept that debuted at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. The Yamaha EKIDS is powered by a DC brushless motor with electricity supplied by a lithium-ion battery.

Dunlop has released its newest DOT-legal racing tire, the Sportmax GP-A Pro. Being the spec tire manufacturer for the AMA Pro Roadracing series gives Dunlop plenty of top-level R&D test riders to develop the next line of tires. Couple that with the company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Buffalo, New York, and the days of grabbing a set of UK tires over their American counterparts is over.
