Vincent All description

VINCENT VAN GOGH ... a book of ..30 color postcards in postcard book, NEW condition......cards are 4.5 inches x 6.8 inches.

Vincent van Gogh (1853–1890) can be seen as the quintessential starving artist: for all the reverence with which we now view his work, in his lifetime he sold only one painting. Over the course of a single decade, van Gogh produced more than two thousand drawings and paintings. Struggling against madness, in and out of mental hospitals, he created works of genius. Shimmering with light and color, saturated with the intensity of his vision, they resound throughout the world of art. Thirty full-color reproductions.

The World Endurance Championship Starts This Weekend

Wed, 23 Apr 2014

Endurance racing is perhaps the ultimate test of both man and machine. In the past, teams would pace themselves in order to rest both elements enough to make a final push at the end. These days, however, motorcycles are more reliable than ever, and riders train like triathletes.
