Victory Zach Ness Cross Country description

2013 Victory Zach Ness Cross Country, 2013 Victory Zach Ness Cross Country BREAKTHROUGH CUSTOMIZER ZACH NESS APPLIES HIS DYNAMIC, EDGY STYLE TO THE WORLD S SMOOTHEST-RIDING BAGGER. THE MOTORCYCLE THAT BREAKTHROUGH CUSTOM BUILDER ZACH NESS BUILT AND RODE TO STURGIS LAST YEAR IS NOW AVAILABLE AS A LIMITED-EDITION BAGGER. THE ZACH NESS VICTORY CROSS COUNTRY BAGGER MOTORCYCLE FEATURES THE SMOOTH STYLE AND DARING ATTITUDE ZACH BRINGS TO THE STREETS, WITH CUSTOM PAINT AND GRAPHICS, NESS ACCESSORIES AND THE PUMPIN' AUDIO SYSTEM ZACH DEMANDS. Features EACH BIKE NUMBERED & SIGNED This exclusive, limited-edition model has a numbered metal badge on the case that includes graphics of the Zach Ness logo and signature. FREEDOM 106/6 DRIVETRAIN The ideal complement to this bike s incredible Zach Ness style is genuine Victory performance. The smooth and powerful 106-cubic inch Freedom V-Twin serves up 106 ft-lb of torque, and the 6-speed transmission has true overdrive for the smoothest highway cruising. ZACH NESS CUSTOM SUEDE PAINT The stylish Titanium Metallic paint is what Zach had on his personal Cross Country last summer. Add the unique graphics Zach designed and the striking paint scheme coordinates perfectly with the bike s custom treatment. BLACKED-OUT NESS HANDLEBARS The Ness custom handlebars enhance the driver experience by creating a comfortable, in-control riding position. Handlebars are a focal point of a bike, and these blacked-out bars look great in Zach s custom scheme. BLACKED-OUT ENGINE/EXHAUST/TRIM Zach gave the bike s trim an understated, blacked-out finish to put the focus on the custom paint and graphics. Blacked-out features such as the engine, exhaust and saddlebag trim look great on this bike.

Max Biaggi sucking on a dummy

Mon, 11 Jun 2012

You can't fault Max Biaggi's performance on the track at Misano over the weekend, bagging a double-win on hia Aprilia, but you have to question his podium celebration. We're not sure what's going on here, but suspect it's something to do with his son, who was at the track for the first time to see his old man racing. Perhaps it's Biaggi's way of dedicating his victory to his son or could it be Biaggi's way of saying he's no longer spitting the dummy, something he's earned a reputation of doing over the years.

Brammo Earns Seventh Place Against Gas Bikes

Mon, 06 May 2013

This past weekend, Brammo arrived to Sonoma Raceway in Central California ready to do battle. Only this time the electric sportbike manufacturer would be trading blows not with other electric bikes, but with their ICE counterparts at the second round of the American Federation of Motorcyclists series — one of the oldest club racing organizations in the country. We recently mentioned Brammo’s eligibility with AFM, and this weekend was the first outing. Team Icon Brammo and its two riders Eric Bostrom and Steve Atlas competed on the Empulse RR machines while third rider, Shelina Moreda, rode the Team Parker Brammo Empulse TTX — a modified version of the road-legal Empulse.

Craig Vetter Grand Marshall for 2012 AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days

Tue, 22 May 2012

PICKERINGTON, Ohio — AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame member and noted designer Craig Vetter — whose contributions to motorcycling range from the iconic Windjammer fairings and the Triumph X-75 Hurricane to the Mystery Ship limited-production high-performance motorcycles and a number of high-profile motorcycle fuel-economy contests — will be honored as this year’s grand marshal at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days featuring Rockers and Mods, July 20-22, at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. Vetter has been a member of the American Motorcyclist Association and a designer since 1965, and his varied background gives him a unique alliance to both the Rockers and Mods motorcycle subcultures. His design projects over the years have involved café racers — the motorcycles of choice for Rockers — and scooters, which are favored by Mods.
