Chris Vermeulen to Replace Colin Edwards at Le Mans

NGM Forward Racing has named veteran MotoGP racer Chris Vermeulen the substitute rider for the injured Colin Edwards at the May 20 French Grand Prix at Le Mans. Vermeulen will ride the team’s BMW-powered Suter Claiming Rule machine. Vermeulen raced four full seasons in MotoGP from 2006-2009, all with the Rizla Suzuki team.

Hot off the trails of the Hard Ball’s release just last month, Victory Motorcycles is showing no signs of slowing down in 2012, as it’s set to debut yet another new model January 20 at the New York International Motorcycle Show. Details about the new machine are scarce, but if we were to guess judging on the graphic above we’d say it could be loosely based off the Vegas due to its conventional fork and lack of fairings. Drag Specialties Releases New Harley FXS/FLS and Victory Hammer Seats

Drag Specialties, long known for its quality aftermarket parts, has released new seats for two different American motorcycle manufacturers. Harley-Davidson FXS/FLS models now have stylish Predator Seats available for their bike. The solar-reflective leather on the seat surface is claimed to reduce the surface temperature of a sun-baked seat by “as much as 25 degrees.” The sides are constructed of automotive-grade vinyl.
