Ural All description

You are looking at a 2002 Ural Tourist. This is a good project bike and perfect candidate for your next restoration project. The engine is frozen from sitting for so many years so I am listing it as a non running project. The side car is just partially attached, being bolted on top and strap to the motorcycle frame at the bottom so it can be moved around easier. Gas tank is just for show and is no good. Bike does shift threw its gears. The bike does have its original tool kit, tire pump, and some of the original purchase paper work when it was bought new. The side car has a upgraded CB radio inside of it, do not know if it works. The bike does have a clean Florida title that matches the bikes VIN sticker. I will now let my 75 picture slideshow I provided in the listing do the talking. You must use a regular computer or laptop to see the slideshow.  They will not show up with apps, phones, or some tablets. Click on the view all tab at the bottom of the slideshow to see all the pictures.

This is a NO RESERVE auction. No warranties expressed or implied , and a as is where is sale. Feel free to have the motorcycle inspected if you like.  All sales are final, and there are no refunds or returns, and inspections are recommended. Bike comes with a clear title from previous owner, that matches the bikes VIN. Full payment is do within 7 days after the auction has ended. Buyer must also contact me within 2 days after the auction has ended to set up a time for payment and pickup. Bike must be picked up in Tampa FL. As long as the bike is paid for in full within 7 days after the auction has ended, then she can sit here for up to two months, but would like it picked up as soon as possible. Please look at all of the pictures, including the slideshow pictures, and ask all questions before bidding as I will be happy to answer them.  Thank you and happy bidding!

Cool Cycles Ice Cream

Mon, 20 Apr 2009

John Gibson had a vision 15 years ago to sell ice cream from a motorcycle sidecar, inspired while running as he listening to motivational guru, Tony Robins. After years of experimenting with different bikes and setups, including using the Russian made Ural (he once owned a Ural dealership), Gibson, finally settled on the Honda 750 Shadow and the Harley-Davidson 883 Sportster. The Cool Cycles Ice Cream Company is open for business, the headquarters are located in Tacoma, WA where they will start selling franchises within a 100 mile radius, the Los Angeles area will be next and Las Vegas to follow.

Ural Sales Increase 39 Percent In 2011

Wed, 11 Jan 2012

Ural, the funky motorcycle sidecar manufacturer from Russia, is boasting a 39% increase in unit sales for 2011. Considering the company’s total expected output for last year was approximately 1,100 models, you won’t notice an influx of sidehacks dominating your local roadways, but this is really good news for the small manufacturer of eclectic two-wheelers, especially in the midst of a deficient economy. Ural recognized an article in the New York Times and a collaboration with bike builder James Hammarhead for some of the company’s increasing popularity.

The Institute of Adventure Research

There's something incredibly British about The Ice Run adventure. It was an idea dreamt up by Tom Morgan, Founder-in-Chief of - get this - The Institute of Adventure Research, the 'research arm' of a group called The Adventurists. Brilliant!
