Triumph Trophy description

1st OFF PLEASE READ THE WHOLE DESCRIPTION ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM. tHAT BEING SAID... What I have here is a MINT 2001 Triumph Trophy 1200. You would be very hard pressed to find 1 in this nice of condition anywhere! It has only 12,900 mis (might vary slightly as I am still riding it). This bike is 110% ready to ride anywhere, anytime! There are very few imperfections on it. There are a couple of very very small rock chips on the front fairing if you can find them. There are a few rub marks on the tank and side bags from hands and boots getting on the bike. There are no gouges or deep scratches. Even the flaws I pointed out are barely noticable but I thought I would point them out. I am beyond fussy so I mentioned them. The bike looks absolutely beautiful and the paint shines like new. I get alot of compliments on it and people can't believe it is 12 yrs old. At 11,500mis I did the following... New tires front and rear Oil change New Iridium spark plus New K&N air filter New fuel lines New coolant New brake fluid New hydraulic clutch fluid Corbin seat with passenger seat backrest Clearview XL wind screenwith vents Throttle boss It also has Genmar 1in handle bar risers which are very nice for comfort. I bought this bike with only 5000 mis on it in the spring. It was absolutely beautiful when I bought it and is even better now after I owned it. As much as I love this bike I realize I am more of an adventure bike kind of guy and am going to go ahead and get the BMW GS I always wanted. I also want to mention that the rack on the back IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE! It will come with the stock passenger grab handles. ALSO 1 MORE IMPORTANT DETAIL YOU MUST READ!!! THE BIKE DOES HAVE A LIEN ON IT! THE BIKE MUST BE PAID IN FULL SO I CAN GET THE LIEN RELEASE. THIS TAKES A COUPLE DAYS. IF FOR ANY REASON YOU ARE NOT OK WITH THIS PLEASE DO NOT BUY THE BIKE! I ASSURE YOU I WILL WORK WITH YOU TO GET THIS DONE AS FAST AS POSSIBLE!

What’s Old Is New Again – Video

Mon, 14 Oct 2013

There’s something distinctly cool about old British motorcycles. From the wire wheels, the minimal bodywork, and the exposed engines which give off a thunderous bark, I’ve always loved looking at old Triumphs, BSAs and the like from the 60s.  I’ve never owned one though. The reason is simple: old British bikes are needy little maintenance machines notorious for the odd oil leak.
